"James,
Harry may or not be right about Halzbee's extortion." I
settled into a comfortable, antique armchair built in a more
comfortable, antique era. "Harry is a fine gentleman but he's
also strong-willed and used to getting his way."
"Yes, sir. The possibility does exist that he is exaggerating
to serve his own desires."
"It is possible."
"I suppose we should test Halzbee to confirm it for ourselves."
"Very prudent, sir."
"And so what if he hasn't done anything illegal? The fact
remains that if he gets control of Avalon Industries innocent people
will lose their jobs. Halzbee will profit while others
suffer. James, we cannot let that happen."
"No, sir."
